It is endemic to the Chaco region. It occurs in Argentina, in Catamarca, Córdoba, Chaco, Formosa, Jujuy, La Rioja, Salta, Santiago del Estero and Santa Fe. In Bolivia in Santa Cruz and Tarija, and in Paraguay.
